Attaining this patent is a major breakthrough in addressing one of the world’s biggest hazardous waste issues: sustainable disposal of waste tyres.
The patent is in addition to receiving the first-ever environmental approval for the thermal treatment of rubber in Australia – positioning Entyr as the leader in solutions for tyre waste management and delivering a circular solution with high quality products produced by our process.
The granted patent covers continuous processing instead of traditional batch systems resulting in increased volume throughput with lower capital spend and a smaller footprint. The patent covers a controlled heating process that enables a controlled endothermic reaction, resulting in production yields at lower energy costs.
Entyr has patents in Australia and the USA. Entyr’s European application is under evaluation.
