Supercars has partnered with Entyr to convert end-of-life Dunlop racing tyres into high-quality raw materials used to replace virgin resources in manufacturing.
Following the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 in October, Entyr took delivery of over 400 Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres to be converted using Entyr’s patented thermal processing.
The project serves as a trial run for the partnership, with the future intention to recycle all used Supercar tyres using Entyr’s clean conversion technology and giving race-used Dunlop tyres a new lease on life.
